Today, the year 8′s and 11′s linked Chris Herz, who is an arthur from New York.  He told us about his books and how he got where he is today. At the start he quit his job and printed the books on his own and went on the streets and sold it. then a journalist did a article on him and a publishing firm rang him and they published his book the last block in Harlem.

i got to ask him what his books were about, and he told us about his book pharmacology its about a 20 year-old girl who moves out of her home town and falls in love with some guys and girls, it seems like a really good book i want to read it.

i was really inspired by him, he gave great advice and now i’m less afraid to let people hear my songs and read my lyrics. i Found everything he said very interesting and i really liked linking up with him.

i found it very interesting then he still uses a typewriter when there is computers and other things like that. He said to keep a pen and paper with you wherever you go because you never know when you will be inspired.

He bases his characters on everyday people that he see or meets in trains and in subways. he also thinks what how his characters do? what would the eat or like to do, would they have low fat or normal milk. even though that seems random i think that he is very dedicated to his work as a writer and i honour him for that.

Thank you  very much chris for the session on Friday. :) i hope to link up with you again
